Itinerary Summary

Your tour will begin with a pickup from the Quito airport when you arrive on Saturday. Overnight at a 3 star or better boutique hotel in Quito's historic Old Town district, then a day tour of the city of Quito including the museum at the equator line. The next day we visit the imposing cone shaped Cotopaxi volcano and the Cotopaxi National Park, including a hike to the glacier line for those who wish. 

The next morning we depart early for the Quito airport for our departing flight to the unique Galapagos Islands, where we begin an 8 day / 7 night cruise on board the first class Beagle yacht. Your cruise itinerary depends on the departure date chosen, but both itineraries include some of the best sites in the Galapagos islands for observing both land and marine life. The last day of our cruise, we board our return flight to Quito and the mainland, and are met at the airport. Those who wish can travel directly to the Termas de Papallacta hot springs resort (optional, additional cost) for the night, or spend the night in Quito and visit the Termas the next day.

Our tour comes to a close with a 2 day / 1 night stay at the Bellavista Cloud Forest lodge, a pristine cloud forest reserve and a beautiful place for birdwatching or hiking, and then a day trip to the traditional town of Otavalo and its famous indiginous market. After Otavalo, the tour concludes with a farewell dinner at an excellent restaurant in the Mariscal district (drinks not included)

This special package includes nearly everything: all transportation including flights to and from the Galapagos, all accommodations in first class boutique hotels with breakfasts, all meals at Bellavista and during the Galapagos cruise (as indicated on the itinerary).

Galapagos National Park entry fee ($100 per person), INGALA migration document ($10 per person), wetsuit rental if desired, meals not specified as included in the itinerary, alcoholic beverages, personal expenses, and tips are NOT included. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
