Darwin Motor Yacht

General Information

M/Y Darwin

The Darwin yacht is among the smallest of the Tourist Superior class yachts; in our opinion, it is closer to Tourist class yachts in size. However, the Darwin maintains a good reputation for service and quality. A 16 passenger yacht, it has 8 double cabins all with private bath, hot water and air conditioning and ample common areas and deck space. While somewhat smaller than other yachts in its class, it is well operated and maintained and offers a reasonably good quality cruise with reasonable pricing. Itineraries, however, include only the central islands of the archipelago.

Itinerary

Galapagos yachts all operate on a 14 day (2 week) circuit. This circuit is broken into shorter itineraries which can be combined; cruises can be as short as 4 days and as long as 15 days.

Starting or ending days are highlighted in the 15 day itinerary (day 1 and day 15 have the same activities); passengers arriving on these days will do the afternoon activity and passengers departing on these days will do the morning activity.

The Darwin offers itineraries of 4 days (starting day 5), 5 days (starting day 1), 8 days (starting day 1 or day 8), and combinations of up to 15 days.

All itineraries listed below are subject to change or modification due to park regulations, airport restrictions, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond the control of Eos or the yacht operators. They are listed as a service to provide general information as to which places in the Galapagos are typically visited by each yacht cruise.
